Winter in Yosemite

I was first in Yosemite in 1999, as part of a family holiday to the National Parks of the USA. I had been climbing at a reasonable level before we went, I understood the history, and that trip probably resulted in my future obsession with the amazing lines of the park.

I returned 5 times between then and 2016 when I decided to stop climbing. This post isnt about any of that, although Im sure it will come. Its really a photographers poem to the beauty of “the valley” in the best season of them all.
